#Sharjah1000 was a community art initiative conceived and organized by Reem Saeed, inviting social media users to visually document the Emirate of Sharjah through Instagram over the course of one month. Seventy participants joined the challenge, successfully reaching the goal of 1,000 images. The collection was later exhibited at the Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF) Space, offering a powerful visual narrative of how residents and visitors saw and experienced the city — a collective portrait of Sharjah through a thousand lenses.
